GETTING STARTED

In partnership with the City of Vancouver, who approves all event applications, the Yaletown BIA supports you through every step—from availability to planning.

Check Availability

Contact the Yaletown BIA to discuss your event concept and confirm your preferred date is available.

Apply For an Event Permit

Submit an event permit application to the City of Vancouver. More complex events require more lead time.

WORK WITH YOUR LIAISON

You will be assigned a liaison who will review your application and inform you if your event is conditionally approved or if more information is needed.

PLAN YOUR EVENT

Once conditionally approved, the Yaletown BIA will work with you to plan a successful event day.

    Helmcken Plaza is Yaletown’s only pedestrian plaza, making it as unique as the setting itself.     Homer Street & Smithe Street

    Step off the Canada Line and into the action! Bill Curtis Square is a tree-lined plaza set against the iconic backdrop of 1152 Mainland Street, right at Yaletown’s busiest intersection. With high visibility, steady foot traffic, and seamless transit access, it’s an ideal space for pop-ups, brand activations, and community gatherings that demand an audience.
