Let's Hear it For Yaletown

Some evenings, Yaletown just breaks into song. Vancity Hot Jazz Society sets up in Bill Curtis Square for live jazz, swing, and enough room for everyone (kids included) to find their groove.

Who: Noah Gotfrit Quintet

Noah Gotfrit, double bassist and arranger, leads a swinging quintet through dynamic arrangements curated for swing and lindy hop dancers. This year's lineup features Brad Shigeta and Bryce Gilhome on trombones, Ingrid Li on alto saxophone, Buff Allen on drums, and Noah himself on upright bass.
