Some evenings, Yaletown just breaks into song. Vancity Hot Jazz Society sets up in Bill Curtis Square for live jazz, swing, and enough room for everyone (kids included) to find their groove.

Who: Belleville Swing

Belleville Swing is a Vancouver-based swing group inspired by the hot club tradition of Django Reinhardt. Since 2021, they have been bringing joyous, dance-floor-friendly music to cafes, bars, and festivals across Vancouver. With violin, guitar, upright bass, and a mix of instrumental swing and vocal numbers, their sound is equal parts vintage and alive in the moment.

BYOB welcome for the grown-ups.
