Let's Hear it For Yaletown

Some evenings, Yaletown just breaks into song. Vancity Hot Jazz Society sets up in Bill Curtis Square for live jazz, swing, and enough room for everyone (kids included) to find their groove.

Who: Ben MacRae’s Eastside Second Line

Ben MacRae is a fixture on Vancouver's trad jazz scene, a reedsman who carries the torch for the great hot jazz players before him. Energetic, sharp, and and often poignant, he brings crowd work and musical chops together with the bands he leads.
